Hola!

Muchos besos y mucha suerte.

Hola Tommy,
muchas gracias por escribirnos aqui otra vez,

Greetings, perhaps a true “fan” of Tommy can answer this simple question.
What are Tommy’s formal higher education and degrees?
One would imagine Tommy isn’t just a “dumb” athlete, no?
It is for a research paper over educated athletes. Gracias.
Noviembre 20th, 2011 at 6:14 pm
Hello, I seem to be lost but I luckily came to this nice website
What an enjoyable website. Tennis must take some intelligence and yes EducationFirst does make valid points, too many athletes don’t put enough emphasis on education and just rely on their bodies.
Being an athlete is a challenge especially those that want to get to the top. Which requires making tough decisions, surrounding oneself with those that put the athlete first including the athlete’s mind, body, and soul. Unfortunately sometimes people including friend(s) and family can be envious of an athlete and would enjoy seeing them loose. Perhaps so they can spend more time with them or so that they can leave the town.
Thus why it is crucial to surround oneself with the very best team especially when travelling. Massage therapists are readily available in every town and tennis facility. Tennis coach, fitness expert and general advisor are about all a top notch tennis player needs. Just 3 people plus the player should be enough of a team. The team should do everything possible to ensure the player wins the trophy.
Why spend additional money and energies on things that are not needed. Hmm Tommy was so healthy in his body up until, 2008/2009. Perhaps he used the wrong doctor on his travels or “massage” therapist(s).
Evaluate which can call for tough decisions but are needed to reach the top, which in tennis winning a slam, say the French Open.
Best Wishes Tommy “boy” or is it Tommy man? A man is “grown” up and makes the tough decisions.
Warmly…..TD

All the photos are enjoyable but PLEASE do a new fan and honor a simple request:
Remove that awful, black, neck chain, it looks AWFUL, and the awful black necklace and black beaded wristband.
GO back to the nice gold chain that Tommy wore up until 2008/2009. That nice gold chain seemed to be on Tommy’s neck much when he was winning more like in 2006 when he won a Master title.
Best wishes. TD

More to life than tennis and football.
Pick up a book sometime.
Say oh I don’t know, the BIBLE…learn about the true GOD. GOD does rule all things including sports.
Happy Sunday! Week til Advent!

Tommy Who?
Everyone has heard of The Who who sing the song Tommy Can Hear Me, so it is a good thing Tommy was named after something so famous otherwise no one would know Tommy
Now if Tommy wants attention he could stand next to Nadal, now Nadal is really really famous.
Fame comes and goes, no? Most people don’t even know who Connors and Sampras are now, but their legacy lives on in their great accomplishments.
Can anyone tell me what great accomplishment Tommy has done? It is for a school paper on tennis players.
Thanks!

Good job Tommy!
Now your doing good.
Which means very good rewards!

Ah wisdom teeth extractions are important to have removed. It is normal to be worried about dentists and doctors and delay going because, unfortunately psycho medical professionals do exist. Yet in a small community one should be able to find a very good doctor and dentist who can make you healthy and happy.
Good to get wisdom teeth out and also good good to follow dentist advice. Here is some more advise to follow such as NO physical activity for a few days or longer, drink liquids only for a few days. While the cavity sockets are healing if one eats food it can get trapped in the sockets and cause dry socket which is a painful infection so let the holes heal first.
Here is a medical link on things to follow while recovery, most importantly listen to the people who are good, have doctorate degrees and have strong connections to the one who can heal the most, GOD
http://www.wikihow.com/Recover-after-Wisdom-Teeth-Surgery
Noviembre 26th, 2011 at 12:01 am
Here is the medical link, the link above is for a lay persons understanding of things to do while recovering. The link above gives some good suggestions during recovery such as don’t stand up for long periods or do physical activity, lay down, read, watch movies, play games.
http://www.webmd.com/oral-health/wisdom-tooth-extraction
Good luck and keep your sockets clean and free while they heal so NO dry socket comes about!
Noviembre 26th, 2011 at 12:12 am
Also any time a body is under an attack or recovering it is key to keep the immune system protected and help it recover to full force, drink teas that boost immune system,
Green tea with gingers, echinacea, goldenseal, grapeseed extract and
Vitamin B’s, a super Vitamin B pill that has the Vitamin B’s is helpful.
Physical activity is ill advised due to increasing blood flow which puts pressure on the healing wounds, so no physical activity like tennis, walking, running, sex. Especially the later just give it up altogether until you find the right person. Even self enjoyment is ill advised while recovering–nothing that gets the blood flowing.
No solid foods, physical activity, self enjoyment for a while
Tommy’s favorite things just have to wait, recovering right is most important!
Noviembre 26th, 2011 at 7:50 pm
Ah when we fail to follow doctor’s orders then we do become “screwed” and suffer consequences. A short story to entertain the ill but judging from latest Twitter photo handsome patient.
This is just a story
” there was once a handsome, strong, good king, who had his people’s love and devotion. Yet the more his people loved him the more his brother grew to envy him and the jealousy became to overcome this brother of the king. The king did have the most powerful partner/advisor who even his brother feared for this king’s partner saw what truly existed, happened in the hearts and minds of men. Yet the king being soo good so very good, wouldn’t completely see the evil that lurks in men’s hearts whereas his cohort did especially from king’s own brother…when the king was at a party and his partner was gone, he was presented with a great gift from his brother, a royal, golden, jeweled encrusted suit of armor,
the king was lured into trying on this magnificent suit and once he did he became trapped…the king’s evil brother with his cohorts took the kings body and sent it away”
Now your sufficiently entertained, arose, and excited? Without being “screwed”
There is much more to this story that perhaps has been heard before.
Like what happened to the king? did his extremely powerful partner rescue him? did the evil brother rule? Yet now it is intermission so keep resting Tommy and indulge yourself in releases of music, arts such as movies and books while you rest and recover.

Hola Tommy!
Apa, maco, i que et vagi be!

Oh sorry to hear Tommy had teeth problem.
How is he doing now?
All good we hope.
Diciembre 1st, 2011 at 5:08 pm
Hi anyone know how is Tommy recovering?
A professional tennis player has an obligation to fans to keep them somewhat aware of injury/health status and events they intend to play so that fans can support them, buy tickets and watch matches.
Although few “pro” athletes really are “professional”, no?
Diciembre 3rd, 2011 at 6:27 pm
Congratulations to Spain.
Fortunately Spain Davis Cup has true competitors of the court playing, Nadal and Ferrer–men that take care of business and get things done!
Business first then pleasure. One doesn’t see Nadal and Ferrer running around partying and just enjoying life when they have titles to win.
Then again Nadal and Ferrer are real men, who take care of their business on and off the court such as media appearances, promotions, exhibits and they always train and prepare properly for tourneys. These are real men, not lazy too inclined to indulge themselves because they are the only child.
So great job Spain in Davis Cup! Oh best wishes Tommy, one said you have sat out most of the Davis Cup matches in last few years. Perhaps Tommy is retiring, he does seem like he lost a few steps now that he is approaching 30. Some men just can’t hack the tour when they hit their 30s. Either way best wishes in whatever you try to do. Does Tommy have any sort of education?
Even a basic high school degree? Even some online courses? Just some sort of basic higher level education?
Education gives us knowledge and thus power. Most pro athletes struggle after they retire due to lack of education, ideas and the ability to implement their other goals because of having lack of these things.
Perhaps Tommy should just go teach tennis in Olot and stick to doing the ONLY thing he really has shown up to date to understand, tennis. I wouldn’t call eating and sleeping in as things that are skills. Leave the other things to the real men and women.
Best wishes of course during this holiday season.
Diciembre 6th, 2011 at 9:43 pm

Boys need not apply.
New DATES…yes could be nightly…Please update us on this matter.
Real men and ATP pros take bull by horns and get their schedule together, ask the tourney director and make the first move. Boys wait at home, scared to act.
Now we know Fed has a wife who does and has done all this for him, and he didn’t start winning tourneys til Mirka started travelling fulltime, on his salary, and expense accounts. Then once this happened Fed also provided her with a hotel room separate until they were married. Things really took off for Fed at this point. He won so many slams until she decided to slow down and start a family–at that time things slowed down for Fed
Mirka who played on tour knows the scenes almost as well as say a real Queen, like Graf, Seles, Evert who all won slams. Now did any of them go on to get any real education? No. So they are limited advisors, correct? Now say yes.
Good. You’ve got schedule together and please revise and update it as you and your team makes changes so that your fans can come out to support you.
Best wishes Tommy boy. Be good during Advent. No sex once you in love and engaged so enjoy your life now Tommy! Your pro tour must still get you up well ENOUGH to really pick the right tourneys where you are protected, safe and ready to win.
Your fan.

With Aussie Open starting up in 5 weeks Tommy should be focusing on strengthening his commitment to evolve into a more disciplined person on and off the court.
To give into every human earthly desire just weakens us. Whereas when we become more selective in what we eat and who we share “experiences” with in life we learn to cultivate a purer and higher degree of enjoyment in finding the truly great things that set off our sensory glands.
Why settle for ordinary food and “experiences”. We have to compromise as much as it is in this world yet who we share “experiences” with is something we don’t have to settle on.
Besides too many “indulgences” off the tennis court can affect a players focus, resolve and winning ability on the tennis court.
Best wishes.
Diciembre 12th, 2011 at 4:29 am
Here is an article to work on improving, educating and civilizing a “players” mind especially athletes who seem to lack formal education and manners.
Although disregard the non-important parts such as Spain conquering people such as Aztecs. Spain was surely taught a life long lesson by England and Queen Elizabeth in that attempting to conquer too many things especially a true Queen is a difficult and nearly impossible task unless she and GOD approves.
GOD does not approve of kidnapping, following or any of those barbaric measures.
So be a good boy and read about this special Santo Nino de Atocha child who served great and good purposes by helping those in need. Always be in tune and ready to serve and help those in need. Public service an being a good public servant is a great way to gain GOD’s favors and grace.
Warm wishes.

Diciembre 12th, 2011 at 4:31 am
Spain is a civilized and diplomatic country with culture, manners and style.
Thus it would not take part in barbaric practices such as espionage, kidnapping. Those are unsavory practices left to countries and people that have lost their way.
Behave!
Diciembre 12th, 2011 at 4:37 am
GOD holds a special place in his heart for those with souls of a woman especially old souls. Souls come back to form in various stages and bodies. Yet GOD loves his female energies that he sends downs in soul form to inhabit some sort of physical form often times bodies.
The greatest female energy source GOD sent was Virgin Mary. Here is an article to read. GOD is very protective of his female souls and energies. GOD does not approve of masculine energies/souls, yelling, degrading or abusing female souls.

Tommy hurt?
Diciembre 16th, 2011 at 7:32 am
Diciembre 16th, 2011 at 7:11 pm
Maybe Tommy trains too much in between tourneys? Thus the injuries the last few years. With his experiences and athletic abilities and now age, all he needs is 70-90 minutes of cardio a day with some resistance training, 3-4 times a week. Then do tennis hitting, drilling and practice matches 2-3 hours 4 times a week.
The players that seemed to play until they were in mid 30s, like Agassi, many great Aussie players, Billie Jean, Martina, Chris, Jimmy Connors, they understood their bodies and adjusted training for the twilight years of their careers.
The players that tried to push on and train at same level later in the careers like Graf, Sampras and others, they got burnt out and retired earlier.
Seems like it would be enjoyable to watch the artistic play of Tommy for another 4-5 years, that is time to pick up titles, checks, and perhaps a slam. Didn’t Andres Gomez win a slam in his 30s?
Of course these are just suggestions to help, Tommy surely knows his body and goals in tennis.
Best wishes

Hope you feel better Tommy!
Happy Holidays.
Your fan and supporter.
Diciembre 17th, 2011 at 2:06 am
Oh that is a great idea about Santa Claus.
Tommy would like great either as Santa or an elf, with a basket of gifts and goodies that he personally hands out to the local orphans and homes for children in need.
The local children ward of hospitals in Tommy area wherever he is at during Christmas is a good way to give back. Then we can see how truly lucky we are and how much we can give. Usually if we think if we have given enough, we haven’t so give some more. The more one has the more they should give, no?
Happy Holidays and don’t be a Scrooge
Diciembre 17th, 2011 at 10:16 am

Thanks for Twitter update.
What was the puncture procedure? Often times science and medicine quickly resort to invasive procedures. Invasive=anything that pierces the skin. Invasive can be needed at times but before cutting and removing or tearing it is important to thoroughly analyze the options. Always have 3 opinions of medical experts in the area give separate and independent diagnosis.
Once we cut and remove something then it is gone forever.
Although no need to feel alarm, I am sure the puncture was for a needed purpose. There was a mention of Tommy’s wisdom teeth removal few weeks ago. Wisdom teeth removal is usually always a necessity and that is an invasive oral surgery. I was tough, I had all 4 removed at once, which meant bed rest for a week or so but then it was over. Sometimes they only like to remove 2 wisdom teeth at a time to minimize blood loss and recovery. Again it is all dependent upon the patient.
Does anyone know how are Tommy’s wisdom teeth sockets recovering? Does anyone know more about this latest puncture?
Diciembre 17th, 2011 at 4:04 pm
Never go to a doctor, attorney or most professional places alone for procedures. For one everyone makes mistakes and thus a witness can help observe, protect and keep everyone on their toes.
If a doctor, attorney is not comfortable with a patient/client having someone accompany them then this is a sign that they are worried and like to keep secrets. All clients and patients must control their own issues, cases and medical decisions.
Doctors and attorneys are to provide guidance and suggestions on what route they want to take to help you, yet the patient/client needs to set the agenda after obtaining information. The doctor/atty gives info and advise and patient decides what route and who to perform.
Rest up after any invasive procedure, drink lots of liquids, and vitamins that boost immune systems. Any procedure invades the body which causes immune system to work more thus it needs more nutrients, vitamins and anti-oxidants. Especially world class athletes like Tommy.
Best wishes!

Diciembre 18th, 2011 at 3:01 am
That is a nice posting Lis. I also read Tommy loves food. Although better ask a doctor while recovering should just have liquids, yogurts and easily digestible foods like soups with proteins and nutrients. Interesting that location of Bilbao is known for cuisine. Traditional Spanish items or more European influenced?
Tommy should go to the tourneys when he isn’t playing, he often seems to run off or hide after he looses or while winning in a tourney. Perhaps so shy, no?
Although it is usually the shy ones, like the deep waters, that behold much.

Recent photo of Tommy training look very good. He has gotten himself into to very good condition for upcoming 2012 season and Aussie season. He looks to be in perfect physical condition, a nice amount of lean muscular mass but not too much which slows a tennis player down but enough to be strong. Looks like the cycling in climate controlled room is keeping his cardio nice and strong. The recent photo of Tommy has him displaying a perfect physical body for tennis.
The scientific inventions are always interesting. A special controlled weather room that athletes can use is very good tool. It would be interesting to read more about this device. Yet nothing can replace the real thing, being in the real climate, courts and environment. So sending good wishes that Tommy gets there early enough to get use to Aussie courts and climate.
Now that Tommy has really been training hard and perfected his body for tennis. It would be interesting to see how has his mind developed? Most of the ATP players have nice bodies so the rest lays on the mind, soul and heart. Tommy has the heart, soul and mind of a champion but those areas still take practice. The soul part is easy, well for some=connect to Deus via prayer and thanks for being in his world. Mind=enhance it via strategy based games and strengthen it via many hours of using it so that it can sustain 5set matches. Heart= ah that is somewhat more difficult, yet they say looking at some great athletes in sports history is helpful.
It is great to see Tommy looking so good physically. Happy holidays.

Warm wishes and blessings on this special eve and soon to be day, birth of Jesus. Such holy and special days we are now in.
Thus it was warming to see the Twitter photo of Mr. Robredo with young children during this special time. Children as is Jesus are special gifts GOD gives us to show how much he loves us. In return we are to honor Jesus and teach children of the miracles of Jesus Christ and GOD.
An enjoyable link over children and Jesus. Merry Christmas!

A blessing of a gift to you on your journey to achieve your goals in tennis–protecting your body, soul and spirit requires restorative healing items such a Holy Basil which placed inside liquids and foods makes for enjoyable treats.
DEUS gives us so many good blessings to heal and protect our bodies, we just have to be open to receiving his blessing and wisdom.
Warm wishes.

Lol…thanks for entertainment. The twitter photo made us laugh.
Males who quickly proclaims themselves as a King. Thus why the world has and will always have problems, the male ego–such an annoying thing.
Although I have to say it was a funny photo of Tommy in a plastic paper crown. Good laughs! Take what you can get while you can.
Aussie Open soon starts and the winner of that nice tourney can rightly be considered the King and Queen of tennis.

Sorry to hear Tommy is going to be out with injury for months.
Often times a rush to surgery due to a desire to play quicker isn’t always the best route. Thoughtful evaluations, a few doctors opinions and sometimes good ol’ fashion rest from all physical activities can cure many ailments.
Doctors can be quick to want to do procedures and once it is done it is done, can’t come back so be thoughtful and careful in deciding!
Best wishes!

Boating, a great diversion. It will be interesting to learn of Tommy’s “water” adventures.
Here is an interesting Twitter about Tommy and Angel.
Although Tommy mentioned last summer in an interview that parents should step back and not be involved so much in direction of their childrens tennis. In some instances, yes too much of a controlling nature is harmful. This is true regardless of the connections, some players are too controlling and cannot see the overall picture the way a coach or parent can.
How is Pepo?
Yet most tennis players who do gone to higher levels especially in the pros can thank, as Rodger Federer does his parents for providing the support that his parents created in giving him tools such as lessons, training and travel. Although Tommy could take this issue up with Rodger, have a debate over the merits of parents of tennis players? Sounds good, no? Chris Evert stated she regrets now not listening to her dad and skipping the French Opens during her peak years to play World Team tennis, she won 7 French Opens but skipped a few in her prime years, so one could say Evert knows a thing or two about this area, no?
Here is the link, and a nice update on Tommy’s background, very well done.
Best wishes Tommy and this posting is not to question or put down your opinions but merely to read more opinions and views of a long time and accomplished tennis pro such as Tommy. It is always interesting to hear accomplished masters of tennis such as Tennis elaborate further on their views and opinions, and Tommy is definitely a master of the tennis.
Get well for clay season looms upon the players.

No you walk all wrong on treadmill for a recovery stance procedure, all wrong. You are ruining your body because you are too stubborn and controlling.
You need to do as you are told by those who have the knowledge to help you.
Don’t play soccer especially in Rome, boys get hurt while playing soccer way too often.
Rome yes, soccer and boys no. You are recovering.

As Tommy came on screen to Roddick in 2001 or 2002 at Wimbledon
I thought who is this master of tennis with such style and flare.
Few players capture both.
Then in 2006 I was allowed to visit BNP and see Tommy play live for first time
And then observe his gf at time Dulko play while he watched.
From then on I watched most of tommy’s matches usually wins at BNP. And then I travelled to a slam to see him progress far in 2009. That year I travelled overseas to watch him in his home country Spain.
Unfortunately I missed tourney but saw Spain and found my home or a country that felt like home. Home is something iv always wanted but never found. Thus Spain and S.Ca are two places I would want to own homes.
Thus I must thank Tommy for opening my eyes which can take longer than others, to all the things

Civilization= refining our mind, body and soul to reach for the heighest of heights in Heaven and for some the deepest parts of Hell. Yet both exist for a reason and the truly greats in both catagories learn to love civilization, honor and loyalty.
Civilization=refine your taste, vision, hearing to seek out and find the very best of what life has to offer.
Life puts so many obstacles in our path that when we find that very civilized thing or person we must learn to appreciate and grow from the special gift placed in our way

I have come to BNP to watch you and heard you train and live in this area. As does Jankovich and
Mr. Ellison.
It is great you are in their company to try and enjoy locale restaurants.
Thank you.

Yes this is true, Tommy has all the characteristics of an only child born under Taurus sign. Which can be a tricky person to handle, lol.
You rest Tommy, the photo shot by pool was nice–swimming is a true water sport, exercise and no impact on the body.
Thus seems to be the issue that ends and breaks down tennis players bodies–too much impact training–training on hard surfaces, hard courts, running on hard surfaces and training on hard surfaces. Run at the beach and desert sands are much softer on the feet, legs, back and body.
Although some also say the mental rigors of constant travel and little true companionship contributes to players retiring–so pick travelling team wisely, to keep drama down, expenses down, enjoyment up and the player peace of mind, emotions and bodies as healthy, happy and stress free as possible.
Players need no stress while travelling, for training and matches bring enough stress. Eliminate anything that causes stress in a travelling group!
Keep healing Tommy, soon clay and French looms upon you

Light a candle, for we are in a Sacred time of Lent, one of the most important periods during Christians worship
Books won’t hurt, you perhaps a book could improve a tennis mind…
Best wishes!

Hopefully Tommy’s progress is going strong.
The BNP Paribas Open has started and the facilities keep improving under the new ownership of Mr. Ellison, thus Tommy really needs to aim for a return so that he can play in a few more BNP Paribas Open tourneys and experience all the modern advancements.
Many of Tommy’s fans miss seeing him around the grounds practicing and playing his matches–he always performed so valiantly in this tourney.
Best of luck and you are missed at this wonderful tournament!
Marzo 11th, 2012 at 8:32 am
“no swallow bird” is a hallmark saying in some cultures, it means don’t loose your nerve and choke up. I never swallowed the bird by keeping control of my emotions during competitive play thus I offer some advice to help you.
Tommy needs to stregthen up his resolve and mentality, in past few years he has allowed these setbacks of body to play havoc with his mind. He needs to toughen his mental approach, which was always a hinderance in his performances even during his peak. Tommy has the fitness, shots, movement, defense and offense, it comes down to mental. Go watch Connors, Bjorg video tapes and take some martial art courses.
Next Tommy has lost millions of dollars in endorsements by being such a reclusive person who doesn’t create a public image and connect to his fan base the way Agassi, Nadal and Federer do. Those guys have created images and promoted themselves. Tommy sits stubbornly in his own world hoping for people to chase him, in marketing that doesn’t happen. Tommy has a market base but has done very little to promote himself and his image, which has lost him alot of marketing dollars because he has the game and looks.
Perhaps if Tommy pursued these other income making possibilities he wouldn’t be so “tight fisted” and “cheap” with spending money…lol..
Some patients need tough medicine and perhaps shot in the arm would get Tommy’s pulse up and being proactive. The world will not come to Tommy, nor does a tennis ball. In any business after tennis one finds a much different world than ATP tour, it is called the world of business and survival.
The best use for using the stubborn, stubborn, stubborn side of a Taurus should be exhausted on the tennis court, be stubborn, stubborn, stubborn there and not so much stubborn elsewhere…
Just my measly two cents

Great job Tommy!
“Ocean breezes” lingers in the air. As do the reminders for which we can all publicly see.
Although a single captain has every ability to enjoy the waves he seeks to conquer and ride, yet a true captain once committed to his vessel never strays.
We brings us to wanting to know how are Tommy’s water sports progressing? The tried and true non-tech boating skills are needed in every Captain’s toolbox, for technology can fail and when it does the traditional skills come in handy!
Speaking of riding things, how is Tommy’s horse progressing?
Best wishes from a wet and dreary place.
Marzo 13th, 2012 at 6:29 am
Someone was talking about Taurus signs being, lazy. I couldn’t help but disagree with this statement, although perhaps a bit slow and failing to realize a truly beautiful diamond right in front of their faces.
Like who would let the beautiful, talented, sexy Dulko get away. Yet it is too late now, she is married, happy and has a very talented doubles partner for this year Paola Suarez who is very pretty too. So Tommy has no chance now of reclaiming Dulko on or off the court.
Thus Tommy partners on the tennis court grow slimmer by the day. So who is Tommy playing doubles or mixed doubles with when he returns to the tennis court. Don’t be so shy Tommy, figure out a compatible partner in both events for your next slam tourney, like French. Then go and ask them personally. Text, emails, phone calls are overrated, be traditional, be assertive, and be the captain of the team and go ask them to play with you. For I have found those who make the first move tend to be the leading partner or captain.
Doing doubles and mixed doubles can help shake the rust off one’s game.
I have often found in my professions, I get around, that it can be a benefit to explore new pastures and I do so in work by being assertive and presenting the goods. Although in personal lives being selective tends to bring a true master my way and I am old fashion and prefer to let others lead in personal lives although in my professions I wear the pants.
Best wishes in your come back to Tennis Tommy!
Marzo 14th, 2012 at 7:26 am
Ah Tommy’s masterful tennis skills are not as respected as much due to the long layoffs.
Someone, well a few fans that even bothered to show up for his practice sessions couldn’t name him but it would appear the player was Dmitry Tursunov, looking fit and up to 61 in the world.
Makes us tennis “fans” wonder the form that Tommy will be in so that we can see his expert strategy come again.
A wonderful Master Coach was interviewed and his name Jose Higueras, he second the opinion Tommy has said before—clay helps students learn strategy by constructing long points.
Good job Tommy.
BNP Paribas is not the same this year because it is missing your masterful tennis play. The grounds keep improving under the new ownership, which should satisfy your particular eye. Lets have Faith and know that you will get better and be able to evaluate this tourney for yourself next year.
All the ideas, and critiques you have at tourneys is a great tool for improving your own
tourney(s). How are the Hotels/Taverns where the Santi Silvas Foundation tourney is located? It would be particulary admirable to see an establishment like a hotel/tavern that is fully accomodating to those in wheelchairs especially one located close to Tommy’s tourney, perhaps this exist. Yet it seems like such establishments are in much need.
A man that has a passion to take up such a cause is an admirable man indeed!

Marzo 15th, 2012 at 5:45 am
Tommy there was a great doubles performance from wheelchair experts after Azarenka match and before Nadal. So amazing to see individuals master two(2) difficult things–tennis and wheelchair. Most of cannot master one.
So great to see them in spotlight. Unfortunately they couldn’t play all of 10 point tiebreaker as promised because Nadal was coming out. Although it does seem Nadal supports such sports so lets hope he donates to the worthy cause of wheelchair tennis.
Azarenka played unbelievable in overpowering Radwanska. Unfortunately Dulko was off form but she looked good playing with her partner Suarez.
Keep us posted on who your partners in doubles and mixed doubles will be when you return.
It would be interesting to read a blog of Tommy’s tourneys such as tourneys he has played and likes the best like tourney in Sweden. A blog over the experiences would be fascinating to read. Tommy seems intelligent so he must keep journals while on tour of all his amazing experiences.
Yet avoid food bought out while on location with tourneys, rather risky unless know Chef really well. BNP was hit with food poisioning, smart players cook where they stay or buy prepackaged food!
Hurry back to ATP Tommy!

What am I missing? Are we a bunch of attorneys? How does anyone in this room know, for sure, whether he is guilty or innocent? We do not know what the evidence is, we do not know “specifically” what the accusations are. We have no idea how strong the prosecution’s case is! The only people that know these things are the lawyers behind the scenes. As for all this bickering, it is nothing but speculation and frankly a waste of everyone’s time. Let the legal system play itself out, and let the jury, the finders of FACT, designated by law, do their job and make a wise determination between guilt and innocence. Even though Michael Jackson did pay a large sum of money to settle the case ten years ago, that fact will be inadmissible in this case, since settled cases are excluded as evidence for use by the prosecution. So in this case, his previous settlement will in no way, shape, or form, have any bearing whatsoever on the present trial, unless of course, a juror lies during voir dire and carries with him/her what the law deems an “unfair” bias toward the accused, MJ. So, in conclusion, stop fighting about it, cuz there really is no reason. Nobody in this room knows the facts of this case but everyone does know one fact for sure. Be happy it aint YOU defending your life in a courtroom. Until then, dont pass judgments and try to retain faith in our criminal justice system to distinguish between guilt and innocence. Not to say the system is perfect, OJ OJ, but give it a chance because it is much more effective than the general public would like to lend credence to. Im out! Peace!

So the boy from Olot thinks by placing a crown on his head, that he is a man and King. A man that wants to have Robredo Enterprises of businesses and charities for the tennis career eventually ends and life offers so much away from tennis. Yet staying connected to tennis is a loyal thing by giving back.
Interesting, for don’t forget the limited status of the King on the Chessboard, no?
Only as strong as the other pieces on the board, some say only as strong as the Queen but the other pieces are useful, no?
Just make sure the pieces, every piece, every connection to any piece the King has on the chessboard is on your side

Ah BNP Paribas is facing stormy winds and storm.
Reminder of the powerful storm GOD sent down in order to protect his prized Queen, Queen Eliazabeth I. For GOD truly protected this great leader and wanted to send a strong message the Spanish Armada was getting out of line and not following the highest law of the Universe, GOD’s law. Don’t disobey this law for as the Spanish Armada, some say the strongest Armada in history, quickly learned there is a swift slap from above.

Some say an expert of psychology knows how the mind ticks, some say one who excels in athletics understands the body, one who knows of GOD knows the heart and soul…

Rumor has it Tommy likes to dance?
More music to inspire the artistic side of Tommy.
Dancing has a way of opening up the mind, body and soul. For those that stay so “tight” with their back pocket tend to stay rather stiff on the dance floor and a tight back pocket goes unnoticed and is of little help in “opening” other(s) especially on the dance floor
For in giving we find many graces. Being graceful is the ultimate sign of a great dancer, no?
Dancing is great for a tennis athlete.
and in return receive a great ride.
Best wishes Tommy and make sure before you go after a dance partner that you can handle the “wild” ones, for a few rare people cannot be completely tamed except by GOD but that rare master handler can help bring balance
Enjoy this song, selected for you!

That is a nice photo on Twitter with Rosamorato79.
Makes one think of mxd doubles. Hasn’t Tommy done well in mixed doubles for the big event called Hopman Cup. I believe he won with A. Sanchez-Vicario one year beating Seles and Gambil in finals and then in 2010 Tommy beat Andy Murray in singles and in mixed doubles.
Tommy could be a fine mixed doubles player at the slams. Mixed can be tricky due to the much different spins and speeds of the ATP and WTA players so it is a challenge that is not appreciated enough. It just takes finding the right partner. With Tommy’s very solid all court game he would pair nicely with an aggressive net playing female who can put away at the net the shots Tommy sets up.
Dulko was very aggressive in US Open Mxd finals last year but her partner was off and nervous thus her team lost, she would be a strong mixed partner as would be Liezel Huber, Lisa Raymond, Schiavone, or perhaps one of the very strong Spanish and Russian players. Although an almost guaranteed win would be getting Serena Williams–one can dream right
Of course there are many other WTA players so it takes finding one that pairs ups in style of play and personality with Tommy’s game. Much like dancing there has to be synenergy especially in two players getting along on court.
Often brain dead people, think if they get a great singles player then they can win the tourney. When a team is so inbalanced then the other team just focuses on the much weaker player. Balanced equals who can each bring something to the mixed doubles team is best.
That is a smart suggestion, have links from all social media outlets on this website. It is a bit “lazy” for a “former’ top ATP player not to have such a link.

In the great design of things you actually receive a B- with regard to hard work. Where exactly you lost me ended up being on your particulars. You know, people say, details make or break the argument.. And it couldn’t be more correct here. Having said that, allow me reveal to you what did do the job. The authoring can be pretty convincing which is possibly the reason why I am taking the effort in order to comment. I do not really make it a regular habit of doing that. Second, even though I can easily notice the jumps in reason you come up with, I am not convinced of just how you appear to unite the ideas which inturn help to make the final result. For right now I shall subscribe to your point however wish in the near future you actually link the facts much better.
Agosto 22nd, 2012 at 2:26 pm
Fortunately Efren you raise some valid points and issues. Thus a mere fan like me noticed even with the broken issues raised all over the same paragraph.
1. Particulars are very key in all aspects of like such as with a top tennis professional trying to win a singles slam–being particular with rest, food and liquid intake, proper travel, proper training, correct equipment, clean clothes, correct transport to tournament, understanding the court conditions of tourney by arriving early to practice on the courts
Particular=every little detail in those key components can make or break the tennis players run to that ever elusive glory of a slam win.
Each of those items in 1. are so key that a page(s) could be written in order to keep the tennis pro on track.
The key requirement is to identify the player and then correct a list in those areas according to the need of the player so that they are in best possible position to win that slam
2. Expanding too much efforts in the areas outside of practice and matches is not something a tennis pro should do because it takes out too much of their energy. The player must be very rested, hydrated, and have all the equipment ready to go for competitive match. Including a cleanse/heal/rest in between matches and practice.
As for arguments, my fellow friend Efren and fan of Tommy Robredo, you have no argument here on this particular matter—I believe Tommy has the skill, physical ability and mind to win a slam title.
Perhaps when Tommy does accomplish this feat, then his lovely girlfriend can take much pride in knowing that she can cross the aisle and then take rest in the arms of a true tennis champion.
For we must take great respect and pride in the person that we decide to share a life with including respecting their mastery of a craft they chose to pursue.
Some Kings and Queens, which is rare, tend to master a few subjects/crafts. It does seem Tommy will be one of these tennis, yet in order to truly excel while on tour the mastery of tennis must be the only focus. For charity work, business operations, public speaking, government interest, culinary interests, will surely exist upon a players retirement especially one still only in mid to late 30s.
Pleasure to exchange thoughts Efren, for we both are true admirers of Tommy’s tennis game.
Agosto 22nd, 2012 at 3:55 pm
Yes Effren I agree, performance worthy of B-.
A truly great performance in sports and on stage is very, very rare to find.
For it captivates the audiences mind/emotions/heart/soul and transfers them into the story or athletic competition completely.
Although a wise piece of advice, don’t intrusive offer a performer in sports or stage an unsolicitated review, for unless you are asked or unless it is your job. A truly great athlete and actor knows how they did after it is over.
So many, many critics in sports and stage just waiting to give their 2 cents and yet they could’t wield the racquet or become the part!
Tommy had a great challenger run this year and seems to be following smart advise to accumulate matches, match conditioning, and mental toughness.
Great challenger performances in Italy for Tommy!

De Voiture yes it is true as we age our bodies can perform at same level, yet we just make adjustments to accommodate the age of body by using the gained wisdom and intelligence.
Agreed biking is a wonderful activity and one in which a person can bike for many long years. Biking is the most efficient form of exercise in terms of creating the least amount of impact on the body. So bike, bike, bike.
GOD gives us many tools to use thus the bike is certainly one of them.
Just be careful, wear a helmet at any age and stick to less busy roads, perhaps in the countryside. Much pleasant healing can take place from biking in the country, enjoy a lunch and if married a diversion on the lands. In the city walking is much safer.
It is true de Voiture that a beautiful sports car on the backroads is fun, agile, quick, fast sports cars are enjoyable. As is the luxury of other German luxury cars. Although Japan makes some nice sedans as does Americas.
Biking 100 miles a day seems to be far but I am a mere novice in biking, a true biking captain is needed in areas of equipment like bikes, boats, planes to help teach and guide us to understanding these items. Yet there can only be one true captain which would be GOD, yet on boats/planes and all wonderful items we are given by his graces again there needs 1 human captain in control. Too many masters creates to much confusion especially during times of trouble.
Tommy seems to be on his way to being a master of bikes and boats. The photos of Costa Brava are wonderful. Again a strong reminder of graces of GOD to give us such beauty to enjoy.
It does seem GOD can be very generous to men that earn his favors by granting gifts for his men to ride—boats, horses, bikes, people, cars, to name a few.
Enjoyable to see more photos of Tommy riding his bike, boats, horses. Yet we understand tennis is his priority for next few years.
Agosto 26th, 2012 at 5:09 pm
Happy belated birthday wishes to Tommy. The photos indicate Tommy had a good time.
As a mere fan of Tommy’s tennis, we fans are so lucky to see the enjoyable photos that are actually real and of Tommy’s ventures.
Although being single one can take in more pursuits which is why many remain single.
Efren with no disrespect but in the review of hard work the performance is nothing short of an A.
As for Tommy, and mental toughness on the tennis court, hmm what would the reviews come back in? We see Tommy has all the shots, phsycial ability, endurance as evident from long bike rides. Perhaps the mental toughness and emotional strength should be reviewed?
Happy Sunday in which we thank GOD for having this day!
Agosto 28th, 2012 at 12:34 am
Efren even after thinking about your review of a B-, I still cannot agree with and must say the hard work performance is much closer to a A.
Perhaps you revaluate and come to the same conclusion?
Warm wishes.
Agosto 28th, 2012 at 2:16 am
Perhaps Efren could indulge us a little and explain further on why he gave a B-. With some more insight then we could try to see his perspective on this matter.
Often times reviews are influenced by other things than the actual performance. Yet when one evaluates it deeper with feedback and thoughts it is easier to separate the evaluation from the mood of the person giving the response.
Mecir Beaucoup.
Agosto 29th, 2012 at 2:35 am
Well ultimately this is Tommy Robredo’s domain so its up to him to make the decision on the review Efren brought up.
Yet Tommy must be really focused on US Open. Seem slike a decent 1st round draw so we watch if its broadcast.
Tommy has had excellent results at US Open including 2010 and 2009 so the courts suit him even if the big city do not. Hardcourts suit Tommy’s game and results at BNP Paribas and US Open prove this statement. The impact of hardcourt might be one reason he does limited appearances on hardcourts and sticks to clay.
Go Tommy, US Open 2012 only happens once!
Agosto 30th, 2012 at 2:40 am
Great job Tommy, 1st round win at US Open.
Perhaps Tommy’s pretty girlfriend will reward him tonight…lol, although we mere “fans” don’t need to know the details.
Or perhaps Tommy go and buy his girlfriend some candy by Sharapova called SugarPova
for in Sharapova’s own words “everyone loves candy, right”
Such a smart woman and accomplished tennis player is Sharapova.

Hola Tommy:
hoy he tenido dos decepciones contigo.

Hey Juan what a sad story to share today, Sunday. Although it does say much that you take the time to write for your son, so you must both be fans of Tommy’s tennis too.
I too can be disappointed with the lack of efforts made to connect to fans, fans ultimately help support the game of tennis.
It is rather uncivilized perhaps barbaric to promise a child something and not deliver, a memory the child won’t forget especially in regards to a hero they may have in a sport. Unfortunately I have also seen this unrefined emotional state exist after matches especially if he has lost or not happy. I try to use the defense well they are uneducated tennis professionals with no formal training in education or manners, yet overall tennis players seem smart enough to grasp the basics.
On one particular occassion he left the court, got in golf cart and rudely put up tennis bags so that fans couldn’t seek out a quick autograph. A few quick autographs seems like so little. Loudly yelling also can be a terse and rude habit some male tennis professionals engage in doing, which can be distracting and disconcerting. Although at times we all get so passionate about things we love, there are such few opportunities to interact with fans especially fans supporting our live tennis.
Not that I am here to criticize merely mention something you brought up. Professional tennis athletes have just a few moments while entering and leaving the courts that might require hiding feelings and signing a few autographs which can leave lasting impressions on fans especially the children.
Sad to think a child’s hope to have a wrist band of a tennis hero was promised and not given. We can only be as strong as the promises we make, perhaps with some prayers Tommy will be forgiven especially after doubly delivering upon this promise to a child!
Although as fans our support for players is unconditional and we wish Tommy best in his tennis playing year(s)!
Septiembre 18th, 2012 at 3:58 am
Thats pretty good, Tommy is up to 25 in rankings for challengers and has compiled impressive, sterling results in these tourneys including 2 wins and 2 finals.
Smart steps for Tommy to enter challengers after such a long lay off. Now his main ranking is close to top 100. He is accumulating strength and matches to toughen him up for the big dogs on ATP tour.
Smart players like Agassi and now Tommy didn’t let ego get in their way in playing in challenger tourneys when they were making comebacks.
Taurus signs can be known for being so stubborn so it is good to learn that Tommy wasn’t stubborn in this area!
Great job Tommy!
Septiembre 28th, 2012 at 12:35 pm
I wanted to thank you for th is great learn!! I certainly enjoying every single minor little bit of it I have you bookmarked to look at new stuff you post.
Octubre 5th, 2012 at 12:34 am
Great job in Japan. A major big tourney for Tommy in a venue he loves Japan. Smart pick and excellent first round win.
Excellent.
Smart steps are being taken this year in Tommy’s choices.
Building a foundation for slams seems to be happening.
Octubre 5th, 2012 at 12:36 am
Sorry I didn’t know Tommy was playing this week, great job Tommy!
Normally we try to support and cheer Tommy on.
We have watched a few live matches of Tommys, maybe 12-14 live matches and he won 90 percent of those matches. It was exciting to watch him play live and win! Including over very high ranked opponents.
We pay better attention!
Octubre 8th, 2012 at 2:14 am
Lets seen when Tommy plays nexy!
Octubre 8th, 2012 at 3:43 am
That is great Tommy is going to rest and train in Dec to prepare for long 2013 season, with 4 slams in 2013.
It is great Tommy has stuck with Dunlop and continues to play with it.
Although someone said Tommy is trying new shoes, off season is a good time for Tommy to try and use as many different shoes as he needs to figure out what shoe works best for him. Use the shoes to figure out what works best for such athletic feet. Males have such demanding needs for their feet in tennis due to the pounding they put on the shoes. Just protect your feet and use good safe socks while trying out all the different shoes.
Unless Tommy is under a contract with shoe company he isn’t under obligation to wear one. Although perhaps after trying enough he will like one enough to endorse and agree to wear.
Have a good time during off season for players, to be relaxed and ready.
Great to hear Tommy has a plan for 2013!
Octubre 8th, 2012 at 3:46 am
Smart suggestions!
Tommy should be an expert on shoes after wearing out all the shoes he demos during off season. Then he can help someone learn more about that area.
Such an important aspect of a players life.
Smart to evaluate equipment and NeedS of such an accomplished player as Tommy.

Chap3
“The King had many virtues that were admired, hard working, smart, industrious, loyal but patience wasn’t one that was included in his deck, perhas at a times a bit crude. For the King usually got what he wanted quicker than capturing this person he wanted at his consort.
The King could be short tempered and enjoyed the physical pleasures in this world, food, wine, people.
Yet this King had a feeling he had to follow the rules from above in order to have her as his Queen. He couldn’t take and hold her as could be the way with other conquests and the way men of this time often took a spouse. The King had property but wished to increase his, perhaps this King was bit greedy and not quite as generous with his treasury room as he could be.
His castle was in need of a more refined touch and she held manners and proper etiquettes as important courtesies that must be exhibited to show respect to yourself and others. For how we act is a reflection upon the person we are.
The King needed a consort who would improve his public image, who would be a sterling example of class when in public, and provide him with a strong reflection of what a just and holy Queen he had at his side.
Initially the King and his men couldn’t understand some of the unusual practices she kept, perhaps they thought she was a spy. Yet they began to see a life of lies was not a life she conducted. Merely she was being a devot and strong servant to God.
The King himself enjoyed God’s world the pleasures it brought him and he wanted to thoroughly enjoy her. Although he wasn’t too connected to God nor kept regular practices to God as she did, but he knew enough about God to know he had to wait to take her until he had proposed, promised and exchanged vows.
This annoyed the King for he tended to want what he wanted when he wanted it but he was prepared to take these steps. He had plenty of company in the past and some had said a few regular long term guests with him,
yet his desires were coming closer to be less of a dream and more of a reality”
Octubre 9th, 2012 at 2:26 am
Tommy is in China.
News said he won but no highlights of his match whereas all other winners even Haas received reviews and highlights.
Tommy won that is good news!
Octubre 9th, 2012 at 2:39 am
Not even videos posted of Tommy’s play.
We critique Tommy’s match v. Haas(34 plus years) match, which should be entertaining if both are on their game.
Haas play well considering obstacles of late, which affected-some say his movement. Up and back, net to baseline, low balls seem to be of interest to Haas while recovering on his movement. Such a tall and powerful player is Haas who strikes those high topspin balls off either side with ease.
Perhaps Haas wife will be in attendance. Fed’s form seems solid as his wife can attest. A marvel of a woman is Mykra who has provided unsung works and resolving many of issues for Fed to focus and win so many slams. Few players, perhaps Agassi, were able to snatch such an accomplished tennis player and athlete in a spouse. Thus these women were great assistance to the players during their tours, the wins verify this matter.
Some find beauty, esp pro athletes, in model wives–like football players. Yet team players find help in coaches and teams whereas tennis players don’t have such luxury. Thus many women and men don’t understand the tour and provide more deterance than help.
Yet we are so impressed with the beauty and brains of Tommy’s model girlfriend, a very nice looking match. Perhaps she pose with Tommy in new updated version of Cosmo–nude for a cause, no? With racquets in hand they shed their clothes..
Octubre 9th, 2012 at 1:31 pm
Chap 4
“Therefore the King took much hope and pride that he was being rewarded from above with victories in his conquests–conquests for this woman and of battles to increase his titles and treasury.
Titles existed for the King in conquests of Sweden, Spain and recently he made strong inmarks in Italy. Asian culture was one in which this King understood–honor, respect, work hard, be loyal can bring big rewards. Thus the King loved the swords and foods of Japan and China and wished to continue his progress in these countries.
France held a speciall allure and magic for the King, and his eye each and every year coveted the prize cup of Paris. When rain often fell and during the transitional time of spring to summer, this annual competition on red soil brought much pleasure and delight to the King and he was determined to win it. Paris felt like an area he enjoyed–food, wine, art and music, kept him relaxed while he rested for the individual battles he must conquer to take this title. Thus the King eyemarked the annual Parisian contest and was figuring out his plan of attack for the spring competitions that lead up to this final duals on the red earth.
The King could never understand why he didn’t conquer this title on the terre batteu, as his contemporaries from other kingdoms had. Even an impatient but aggresive great King from Switzerland had won the clay, while the true dominate King of this red soil was a fellow friend from a region close by, surrounded by water and a love of the same country. The King knew he had the endurance of mind and body and arsenal to win this title thus he searched for answers in claiming this title.
As the King looked around, he saw a great team supporting the Swiss King including a beautiful Queen with strong accomplishments in the battle when she took part. The King watched year after year as these two Kings fought for the title he hungered to have. His younger compatriot, the Grand Master of red soils, had an extraordinary uncle who accompanied and resolved most matters so the young King could focus on his battles.
Thus it could truly be said, this King was not envious of these great Kings for their accomplishments brought much attention to the duals he loved.
Yet it was true to say, this King rather longed for the completeness in his team and titles to complete his life long battles in this venu. The ideas were beginning to take shape and form their way into concrete realities in the King’s mind in what he had to do in order to complete his dreams.
As his dreams also laid beyond these battles, an heir of genes rested upon finding this soul he wished to make his Queen.
Intelligence, grace, charm, athletic abilities, keen sense of civilization, refinement, lover of art and causes, hard working, beauty were what he saw in her. Little did he know, her greatest attribute did lay in her soul but was protected by God himself, for she truly was one of God’s chosen ones. Thus she carried heavy burdens and responsibilities. She sought and escape from the daily grind of the secular world so that she could focus on God. A nunery was considered and plans were devised for this possible option.
Yet upon seeing a brief image of the King, her heart was opened enough to feel the love of an erotic love that she had never felt. Her God had wanted this in order to give her greater compassion and insights into the hearts he had devised.
Therefore the King’s steps and boldness were being rewarded in what some thought small ways but in reality rather large”

Ah now review, partial perhaps.
From start of 2nd set in which we could connect in on Robredo v. Haas we began our Review.
At 2 all in second set, terrible, terrible service game by Robredo to give Haas the break. This so far is no performance worthy of a review.
Yet we indulge and observe.
Octubre 10th, 2012 at 1:07 pm
Now much better hold for Robredo at 2-4 down to get to 3-4, much much better service hold. Strong serve and 3 solid forehands by Robredo to get within a break.
Octubre 10th, 2012 at 1:15 pm
Well big applause, Tommy went on court to compete, started and finished the match.
Great job Tommy!
Just keep your head up
Octubre 10th, 2012 at 1:24 pm
The review
From 2nd set on able to view we saw
” lackluster performances by both players who seemed more intent on making errors for eachother than going after their shots with movement and strength. Serena Williams would have beat either player today, as both Haas and Robredo seemed nervous and not too confident. Thus we had a match where the players relied on errors by the other to win.
For instance in the final game with Robredo down 3-5 and down a set, he is serving. This is a do or die service game and for men tennis pros, holding serve can be a given. Not in this case, Robredo makes 3 errors in this game alone, 3 errors which amounts to giving Haas a 0-40 advantage the points of this game sadly went,
Forehand error off ground to give Haas a 0-15 lead in final game of match
Robredo strong serve, 15 all
Robredo strong forehand 30-15 this should have inspired Robredo, alas it didn’t, who still seems tense and nervous in front of a sparse crowd
Robredo error to make it 30 all
Robredo error to make it 30-40 and match point down
Robredo error to give the service game, set and match to Haas.
Haas reaped benefits of many errors off the ground by Robredo, which seems unusual for Robredo can have solid groundies but in this match no Robredo made plenty of errors in particular off the backhand side. The slice backhand by Robredo was none-existant, a few attempts by Robredo to use a floating slice as one uses for clay. Yet this is hardcourt.
Robredo hit a few forehand approach shots which were very nice but overall his errors gave Haas the match.
would leave wondering where is the passion, drive and desire to which points, games and sets.
Consistency, focus, intensity were all missing elements in this match.
Thus we mere fans
Perhaps Robredo will show us he does have these elements, especially passion for a game as special as tennis.
This we wait to observe in next match. This review is a mere C-

Yes Tommy, we love you and big hug for playing your match!
You get better on hardcourts, so far your clay court game has been better.
Great job so far this year in winning so many clay court matches.
Great job Tommy in winning a round in a major hardcourt ATP Master series!
Tommy ranking go up up up! Perhaps automatic entry into Aussie 2013!!!

Well along with your permission let me to seize your RSS feed to keep updated with approaching post. Thanks one million and please keep up the rewarding work.
Octubre 17th, 2012 at 9:25 pm
RSS feeds ok rojadirect but nothing can surpass observing live. Thus everything else helpful but secondary sources.
Although any great athlete like a performer can learn via feedback from performances perhaps even watch replays to see where the strengths and weaknesses come.
Yet live in moment feedback by your coach is best and feedback from a player’s team can also be most beneficial especially for indiviual sports such as tennis and golf. These athletes improve greatly by creating best teams because they dont have a team to join such as in football.
Octubre 19th, 2012 at 4:47 pm
Good luck Tommy in Valencia.
The red and white shirts you wore in Valencia in 2009 were excellent picks for your wardrobe.
Tommy we hope you go early to Valencia to help promote the tourney and of course practice on the courts there. By practicing in days ahead of the tourney this does in fact help promote the tourney, for seeing a former top 5 ATP professional on a practice court creates interest.
Smart reasons why Fed and Nadal go to tourneys early, to get settled in, to get use to the venue and court conditions(which can and do change each year), and of course to help promote the tourney by being seen among the grounds gets fans out to watch practice courts and to walk around during early rounds.
When fans come out among the grounds then they might donate or buy items among the vending and sales. So good reasons to get to the tourney early and have some days before the first match.
Tennis professionals that also say Yes and Smile alot during the tourneys when fans ask for autographs and photos helps create a good buzz and promotes the game of tennis.
Thus a tennis pro with a nice smile and a pen in his hand to sign many autographs leaves a lasting and good impression upon the tennis fans and kids. Never deny a child an autograph for the kids are the future of the game of tennis!
Good luck Tommy in Valencia, get to Valencia early Tommy!

I’m looking after idea to offer to my grandfather who loves horse racing. My friend suggested getting him a part of a syndicate in a racehorse. My co-worker is really into horses, too. He recommended something like Flying Racing partnerships. But, I can’t seem to find them now. Is this a good idea? Has anyone heard of them or tried a syndicate racing team before?

Not necessarily the best thing for a true horse lover and owner
Enero 6th, 2013 at 5:09 pm
Hello, Happy Sunday.
Congratulations Tommy won doubles tourney after not playing doubles in a while, looks like a natural doubles team. Perhaps a slam in doubles?
Yet excuse my ignorance and indulge my amateur understanding of a sport that some say might far surpass my abilities?
As I watch and observe in all aspects of competitions, the winner in these duals tends to be the most intensely focused and competitive player for that moment. In tennis it is best of 5 sets.
There is almost a tunnel like focus for those 3-5 sets in the final of a slam that the man must achieve. Complete focus on winning each point, each game, each set to deliver the total of 3 sets to take that crown.
Perhaps Tommy can evaluate his competitive and killer instinct in these stiuations?
We all know the beautiful artistry tennis game brings, well can admire Tommy’s fitness and athletic abilities, these are without any doubt amazing and professional.
Some say I spend too much energies from psychological training evaluating people. Yet these words come with the sincerest interest in seeing Tommy win a slam!
Again many big congratulations on a fine doubles win!
Enero 6th, 2013 at 5:16 pm
Well smart points and everyone is at different stages in tennis.
So careful Tommy it could be embarassing to loose a set to an “amateur” lol
One never doubted my competitive skills and focus….brrrrr….
Great win in doubles Tommy!
Enero 8th, 2013 at 9:10 pm
Tough loss Tommy in tough heat. Although the human body can sustain much longer periods in such heat, as I’ve proven with my own body.
Yet it requires a build up in such conditions. Thus good to get to such hot areas early to prepare.
Indian Wells has similar hot conditions. A week prep before tourney starts is helpful.
Although the arrogance of an Aussie in his own country, conditions and court suited to his game is not surprising as he said about you”you were nervous and couldn’t handle the heat”.
Thus these words are a reminder when clay soil in Europe comes about and you face him or an Aussie on the slow euro clay. I’ve seldom seen an Aussie in last 30 years that could play on clay especially compared to the expert Spanish men on clay.
The total titles won on clay by Spanish men far outweigh those titles won by Aussie men…
Aussie Open soon approaches! Exciting!
Hydrate! Hydrate! Hyrdate!
Good luck in doubles.
Enero 9th, 2013 at 1:12 am
Well perhaps Tommy’s conquer had a point today that can be a lesson to learn and improve upon.
Tommy has to be ready to physically handle high temperatures and long best of 5 set matches in the slams.
So this match may have been a sign that Tommy’s 5set stamina for physical and mental endurance is an issue. Agassi hired a great fitness expert Gil Reyes, who would run Agassi in desert hills in Nevada.
That is great mental and physical training and allowed Agassi to win the French at age of 29 in 1999. That physical desert training in sands of Nevada really toughened Agassi up.
Perhaps an opportunity for Robredo to learn from, high temps in sands will toughen up the legs and body and mind for the long 5 set matches on clay of Europe and French Open.

Enero 10th, 2013 at 3:59 pm
Fascinating to use YouTube as resource or most any endeavor.
It would be great to see a link to YouTube of Robredo’s videos, catagorized in tennis, play, practice, interviews. Then videos in other endeavors.
Who operates this website?
Also the video of play of Robredo, even on hard courts or indoor quicker courts highlight a fascinating positioning Robredo uses–he does not adjust his court position according to surface. Thus we see Robredo far back behind the baseline even on quicker surfaces. On clay this position can work but on quicker surfaces there is not enough time to play so behind the baseline.
Even Nadal adjusts and moves up on quicker surfaces.
Fed, Murray, and the other top 4 player also move closer in on quicker surfaces to control the point.
The quicker surfaces require more of a dominance of position and shots.

AS this video indicates the court positioning is so crucial especially according to surface and speed of courts.
Tommy in this video is looking tough but his position is being pushed back by Fed. Fed is dominating on being inside baseline more and moving forward more.
Robredo too defensive for this quicker surface.
Although it is nice to see Robredo of 2006/2007 form=a toughness, a warrior approach and confidence.

hi Tennistips2
Thanks for good video share.
Would be great to see a video link of Robredo to his youtube videos
In video above Robredo looks strong in body and mind.
Sometimes Robredo looks a little frail for mens ATP matches especially best of 5 sets. Agassi was able to at times balance right size of muscle, speed, endurance. Agassi was about same height as Robredo, no?
Exciting stuff!

Camellia, that is great you were satisfied with the services you received. By letting other people know a free communication of ideas is exchanged.
Although it tends to be a blending of styles among those who are truly talented in their skills.
Yet many young men in the craft trade and services do not spend enough time practicing, practicing their skills/services. Thus a journey man service provide of AC should practice on AC units regularly to perfect their skills while learning.
Then once accomplished and a master of their craft they can connect to just a client and help advise those young journeymen who they hire to take care of the rest of clients.
Nothing worse than an unaccomplished service who proclaims to be a master….

TR v. Levine should be an enjoyable match, tough as all ATP matches are tough but winnable for TR.
Although it depends, will the fighting, warrior TR show up such as the one who beat Murray in in Hopman Cup and the TR won won ATP Master 1000 tourney in Germany and TR who reached top 5 ATP.
Or will it be the less fighting TR.
Lets wait and review this performance
From feedback and evaluations we can learn much.
Good luck Mr. Robredo!

Enjoyable video interview.
Although biggest challenge Tommy faces to get back into top 50, 25, 10 and to win a slam is to isolate his emotions while in match.
To toughen the resolve, some say for a metal or ice wall barrier while performing to focus on each point, game, set to get to last point. Thus a mental and emotional toughness, some say a killer instinct for only one can win a slam. For Tommy has all the shots and physical abilities.
So it takes an icyyy almost freezing approach to win at such a high level. Set aside those emotions or at the least use the emotions to fuel on to glory in a firey approach.. Either method works but one is needed. Some like Bjorg are more cool and others like Connors more hot, but both won slams.
The great soccer players were fiery and passionate and use these emotions to win!
For others so badly want that, title especially a slam.
It is the mind and emotions that determine the slam winners, for at that level all have the shots and physical abilities….
Brrrrrrrr so cold…
At least in areas where competition is required.
For others will take that title if given the chance!
Good luck Tommy

Hello, sorry to hear Tommy lost. He looks rather fit from the 1 photo I saw of the match. Unfortunately I had work so didn’t see this match. Although a video of this match or views on this match would be exciting to see.
Does anyone know Tommy’s schedule for upcoming weeks?
Feb and clay tourneys of S.America have brought much success to Tommy so perhaps he do those tourneys? Or is he doing indoor fast courts of Europe?
Exciting to see Tommy looking so fit, strong, lean.
The photo on Aussie Open website of Tommy was an excellent playing shot of Tommy.

I don’t understand why athletes have such difficulty doing such simple things–posting schedules. Which is marketing for themselves, tourneys and fans. For fans have to plan ahead for tourneys and many fans base their decisions on what tourneys to visit based on players.
SO tennis professionals can easily post their schedules online.
Simple, post anticipated schdule of tourneys to play on players website, especally for professional ATP accomplished players. Might as well also post the results for this in the same spot after completion.
Professional tennis players and all athletes tend to be pampered, too much money too soon. Which can create a laziness.
Although the true masters of their sports play for the crowns, in the case of tennis the slams. Titles in slams in singles, doubles and mixed are the ultimate goal.

This is stupid, all professional tennis professionals can do themselves a service, fans and tourneys a service by listing the anticipated tourneys they are entering to play and win.
This promotes the game, the tourneys and players.
It also allows fans to go and support their favorite players.
If Robredo wants as much crowd supports as he sees in football and wants fans to come and support his tennis matches perhaps he should list the tourneys he plans to enter. It is not top secret government information–a tennis professional’s anticipated tourneys to play.
although the egos of some professional athletes can have them think they are that important, the ego some athletes can be rather “large” lol.
Lol
Seriously whoever does this website can support the game, tourneys, fans by listing anticipated tourneys Tommy plans to enter. Robredo seems rather cheap so if this is a fan website then its still a good suggestion. A professional tennis player needs to keep such things more up to date. This is rather lacking website for professional tennis player, it has to be a fan made website.
Even Juan Monaco website is much more professional and at least up to date.

Intersting matchup in Chile, Robredo versus P. Riba. especially on a mental and emotional level.
Hard to play someone one knows but perhaps even harder to allow them to win, at least for a competitor with killer instincts during the tennis match. For one has to look at someone they know or was friends with much more than a stranger.
Although some in competitions can be soft, no?
and they don’t battle on and through any issues in order to win. Some perhaps will let a friend or family member win, although these tactics seldom help either person. For true victory comes from earning the win, no?
Lets wait and review this competition between Robredo and P. Riba!
Febrero 4th, 2013 at 6:04 pm
The doubles offer some excitement tonight for Robredo and his countryman from Spain.
Although perhaps they have their heads buried in towels in the locker room crying due to Spain’s big loss to Canada.
I didn’t know Canada had tennis because it is is so cold up there and this is a rather stark and and humbling loss for Spain. Perhaps all the Spanish players can stop and realize that selfish, self interested behaviors may help them in individual tennis pursuits which is what Fed has pursued in always putting his personal interest first on the tennis court but they don’t help the country or team. Spain has now lost rather early and is out of competition in this historic loss to Canada.
None of the most accomplished and highest ranked players from Spain competed in this dual.
It is not the captains issue, it was the player’s choices not to play. Now the Spanish male players from Spain can surely hold their heads down during this humbling, terrible, loss. Spain has lost in Davis Cup.

Good to read and gain some real understanding of life. Professional athletes do much to enhance the intellect of the world. Amazing so much money spent on sports. Surely this improves the world and mind.
True sports can be interesting, chasing a tennis ball all day long must do much to enhance the mentality and perspective ofa person’s life.
Such a challenge, to chase after a ball for hours, days, months and even years. Much like a hamster in a ball.
Interesting article, for teachers provide much skills and education to people. Perhaps a book of words does not replace a pacifer, but the woerds do improve the mind. So many kids are lost and even those who can excel at a sport often fail in the ability to articulate one coherent, intelligent thought.
Then again most would do best to put a pacifer in the mouth of most athletes. A tennis player for example is best satisfied with a racquet in lieu of a bottle.
This then makes the rest of the world happy, for then we don’t have to listen to thoughts of a professional athlete, which can be at most described as unique but then we get the right to see what they can do–race around like hamsters in a ball, chasing after an elusive prize.
Marzo 11th, 2013 at 6:04 am
It would be so stimulating to hear the perspective of tennis players like Robredo and Azarenka, no?
“so you know guys, like this, like this world, ok guys, you know guys, so huh guys, like we had this so totally awesome dinner, so guys uh this so totally great food was like uh so hum, yeah you know we kind of, well”
gives a detailed review of the venues they come across.
For the truly stimulating thoughts of professional tennis players is amazing, no?
Perhaps professional athletes place much emphasize in money over advancement..
Marzo 13th, 2013 at 8:51 am
Terrible performance in USA in 2013.
Just awful for Robredo tennis and fans.
The sunglasses are a distraction, too loud and bright. The focus should be on keeping some balls on the tennis court.
Which from the lackluster performances at BNP in singles and doubles by Robredo, allows us to quickly point out Robredo needs to focus.
Robredo takes for granted the great healthy body he has had in the last year. Just appearing is not enough on ATP. Appearing with a cold, focused approach to winning is the requirement to secure wins.
Lets hope Robredo pulls himself together for Miami and doesn’t push, loop his shots.

Tommy, pretty good tennis so far this clay season.
Pretty good goes far in ATP.
Although does pretty good win slams?
Seems like a complete abandonment of fear is required to win slams. Taking the bull by the horns is key, at least from watching Nadal, Fed and most recently Djokovic, Murray. The later finally resolving to win those slams.
One thing as a big Robredo fan I wonder, is Tommy Robredo just too nice to win a slam? Being nice, shy, reserved, polite, well mannered are all very imporant and great qualities to keep. Yet to break out of a shell and go after a slam requires bold nerves, assertive nature and imposing oneself during the match.
Many ways to be assertive and impose oneself. Perhaps Tommy shows us all how bold and assertive his tenis play can be during the remainder of tennis season.
Perhaps this post, reveals too much, no? Although it only reveals what many in tennis already see.
Good results Tommy so far, pretty good results!~
Mayo 11th, 2013 at 5:13 am
Smart decision for Tommy to rest up. The body was under alot during all the winning matches of clay season this year, great job Tommy!

Hey great photo of Tommy on Twitter with a smaller horse.
Good to see Tommy resting and healing–going easy on a top professional athelete’s body is paramount. Much in the same way going easy on a unbroken or spirited horses is also key.
Going easy in both regards Tommy during your break! Enjoy it.
Soon French Open which is so exciting!

Say oh funny when men try to evaluate things with their own perspective, such as weight and body sizes.
Although Robredo does look very fit, but that is job as a professional athlete be fit in body, mind and soul.
How is Robredo’s mind progressing–for reports indicated perhaps finishing high school was a plan?
Great goal Tommy.
Interesting to hear Federer indicate he considered himself a doctor. Hmm the egos of athletes who excel at chasing balls and getting prize checks can well increase the EGO to a tremendous fashion.
So lets clarify, Federer who didn’t even complete an associate degree thinks he can jump to a doctor level education just on his own accord.
For most countries recognize in lowest to highest, as
High School Degree
Associate Degree
Bachelor Degree
Masters Degree
Doctorate Degree
Lets put it this way it in a way that is easy for athletes to understand–Federer’s statement would be like saying an accomplished medical doctor could go and win a tennis slam without any tourneys or training completed.
Remarkable thing the egos.
Although lets all applaude the efforts of Federer in wanting to earn an Associate degree to start.
As for weight, well that is a subject best left unspoken verbally. Perhaps if the shirt is not fitting as it is too tight, that is all the point that needs to be made.
Thanks for indulging us mere fans with the grand presence of the egos of professional tennis players, we mere fans are so lucky to be graced by such professional athletes
At least from a physical perspective…..
Mayo 14th, 2013 at 1:52 am
Great job so far this year on clay!
Mayo 14th, 2013 at 1:55 am
Also does anyone know is Robredo still with Dunlop?
Heard he might be switching?
Unless under contract and agreement it can be fun for an unattached player to keep using as many different things as needed, to really have fun. Experiment. This lets the player really figure out what he likes and doesnt like and become very skilled.
Although Dunlop surely must have so many models for Robredo to keep using as much as he needs unless he is under agreement with just one model?
Players unattached on tour must have fun really playing around with the different equipment. It must keep them very relaxed during off tennis tourney match days.

Oh Tommy loves music.
Music help Tommy relax and even learn to be more dominate on tennis control.
Control the tempo in all aspects, control the court as a King.
Rewards flow in and out.

“thus this consort began to care so much about King and King’s causes and passions that they became like a joint unit
working towards causes of helping those and honoring those
such causes of a nature, such giving and helping by this union and team would go down in history as a great couple, who grew to be respected and loved by the people they served”
For in service to others the King and Consort were true servants to the one master they had.
Mayo 16th, 2013 at 12:16 pm
This interview is pretty good.
The hmm and ahh tend to be giveaway in the responses. Overall a reflective interview by an intelligent tennis player and professional.
Granted the lack of diligence in pursuing a formal education hinders the intellect. Perhaps during retirement an educatio process is worth considering, one of a formal degree process.
This education can expand the horizons and add intellectual elements to conversation, business functions and overall in life. “Reading, ah no”
Studying economics,,hm what degree?
For now the focus is apprently ready
focus on the tourneys and tour for a slam.
Seems doable.
Although perhaps the fear of scary movies and chocolate with liquor won’t deter Tommy from covering his
eyes and missing out.
Granted much courage was given by Tommy in getting naked for all to see, thus why would the board postings reveal anymore than the nakedness Tommy presented to the world. Yes causes are key but God requires getting naked for them, no–at least not for me and all world to see.
Good luck Mr. Robredo!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fZR1JY6sPyQ
Mayo 16th, 2013 at 12:21 pm
Perhaps the question to truly ask
Mr. Robredo, why so shy?
Doing the social scenes for giving back is great for the sport. Although faking things can be picked up by an observant eye. Faking tends to be truly boring.
Figure out what among the requirements bring you enjoyment and use this as a tool to show interest and passion!
It must be overcome the hesistant nature and shyness for Tommy, in being bold and assertive during key slam matches.
Take the Bull by the Horns during key points of battle is necessary to ride away with a Grand Lenglen Champions Cup.
Granted now Tommy, dont imagine your speech after a grand slam title in which you present a speech to thousands in attendance. This make many nervous? Public speech giving.
Some simple tools of psychological nature can help correct and remove these fears. Good old fashion hard work also makes much improvement!
Mayo 16th, 2013 at 11:34 pm
Oh ok well that is a big challenge–perhaps the King needs some help!

“The consort to be liked challenges and embraced them if they were part of the greater plan and goals assigned, for now this subject truly belonged to God and God alone
Although God being so gracious and giving, was finding this King an ample man to guard the prized soul that he cherished,
The soul never felt more at home when under the firm hand of God’s control, thus God hoped this King would have the strength to lend a hand in controlling the reign of this soul
True of course this soul could protect and guide anyone on Earth through any necessary battle, yet God knew, God knew that this soul longed for a human, partner and King”
Mayo 17th, 2013 at 7:59 am
“the King decide to present the consort with a challenge, in the hopes this noble character would learn some humility, obedience and swallow some pride,
For the King knew only God seemed to put any obedience into this special being that he wished to have
The King offered the consort a challenge
“In 14 days time, during these 14 days you will be offered the training services and any item you need for practice by own accord and expense, to properly prepare for a challenge against me, the King of this region
The challenge over a matter that brings me much satisfaction
This challenge is desired to show you first hand my abilities, for it does not seem you show me the respect I have earned in mastering a sport–often times onlookers can be quick to judge and evaluate. So your sharp mind and articulate tongue might be insightful
So this you hear, upon the 14 days we will dual over the duration of 1 day, on a surface you desire, for the course of 5 sets of dual, the winner to obtain 3 dual wins out of 5 during this contest, shall be declared the winner
The victory prize to be determined on the night that the union is finalized
You must experience first hand, who is the true master of this here dual and craft that I have mastered, me or you fine noble consort, for the one who wins can clearly show their dominance and head of the possible union”
“The consort to be liked challenges and embraced them if they were part of the greater plan and goals assigned, for now this subject truly belonged to God and God alone
Eager agreement to participate in this challenge motivated the captive soul, for it had been years since this soul had been allowed to partcipate in such dual”
Mayo 17th, 2013 at 11:47 am
“the King then decided
that after winning the best of 5 set dual
this consort to be would
would swallow for the first time a few times
Fine La Rioja wines, their pride and his heritage
thus it would be 3 things that this person had never done
so it seemed eventually exploring the more personal side of things would be an enjoyable pursuit that this King had in store for his consort”

Divine Law of God far supersedes any other factor.
A name could be traced back to beginning of the oldest relgiion to God, thus this name brings lineage and rights.
Yet history is fascinating. Two serving their country, people, needs via causes and good, social justice of endorsing arts, education, eliminating poverty and homelessness is much work and requires two bodies.

Perhaps a gift to Dulko’s family.
It was interesting to hear about Tommy’s playing days on tour.
It makes sense to play, play, play while single for those periods can fly by and are times we can learn much.
Although when as the story teller says, when a King finds the right Queen and is in love–this makes everything else drop by the way side and no longer interested in trivial things.

History talks on here are interesting–Kings and Queens.
Such a Holy and Special Queenly Saint, how the King happened to find such a partner is nothing short of a miracle. Perhaps this explains the holy reverence King Malcolm held for his partner.
For her love after God seemed to indicate “forget my crown, my jewels, my wealth and give me my King, take all those things in exchange for my King”
Such true love is a special sacred gift.

“so she gave love and worship to God and in this worship with her King, they created a just and holy life, estate and enterprises
although they said this Saintly Queen whose life of the cloister was a major desire in her life, her love of God came first
recognizing God had of great service for her to marry, assist and serve this King, this consort came to understand her duty
her love for the King was never more real, in serving her King they created a remarkable life that few have seen or observed
although it required a detached part on her to be so involved with the people, two things she could not detach from were her love of her King during this stay on Earth and serving her King
so she waited, and the only earthly vow she took included one to this King, this vow she carried from taken to death, just one vow–to serve, love and be enternally faithful to her King
for if she lived longer than her King, her reward would be to retire to a nunery and continue love of her King and worshop to their one and only God”

“the King saw this
by obtaining his consort
he would have the tools to create his enterprises
of vino, food, sporting equipment
to start with physical locations
thus this King had grand hopes for many operations, and he needed a trusted partner, advisor and expert by his side helping to obtain these goals and dreams
which would last far past the dueling trade”

Open door policy for those in need, always be of service.
Thus the doors must always be about serving and helping.
Especially by those with means to do so.

“so the King began to ponder, as he did–some saw laziness but he was being reflective and thinking for greater results
The King realized, the battles were important for the remainder of his competing years, 3-4 years in many ways, to earn titles, earn income, and earn the trust and respect of his consort
So the King eagerly wanted these 3-4 years to spend focused on his battles and this person he wanted as his consort
For after this career, now the King could see with the help of his consort a much bigger plan that involved–family, estate, enterprises
Such grand things required an able partner for him, especially in protecting his lineage and young ones”
Mayo 18th, 2013 at 7:33 pm
“thus the King could look no further to accomplishing these things
and look better in a soul who would protect his name, lineage, heirs, for this consort looked on to pass down both names, the Kings being used frequently on crests
but in subtle ways
the consort having the royal old bloodlines that the King could be proud of”

good video of Master playing his tennis.
Mayo 20th, 2013 at 7:57 am
yes agreed, Tommy is the master of tennis.
It would be fun to watch him play an amateur for his charity.
The looser to donate substantial sum to his Silva Santi tourney, perhaps LA with famous and rich people who play tennis–one of them take the bet?
Mayo 20th, 2013 at 7:58 am
Maybe get her to play entertainment at Silvas Santi ?

Using many demos has not been my thing.
Havent even used demos much.
Although it is a good tactic to use as many demos, play, play with them to figure out which demo is one you want.
Then agree and keep that racquet forever.

Say this is a tremendous thing.
For a travelling tennis pro to have training locations in a few parts of world.
S.Ca real estate just go go go up up up soon, so good investment to buy buy buy now.
Pick areas that are great for training, food, rest and close to air and major travel centers.
This website looks interesting.
775 good news numbers to me.
